In a world that grows more and more to an individualistic place, where most of our day to day impressions fade away in routine, in a world that faces more and more polarisation, and rightwing neoliberalism which leads to more inbalance and intolerance, I feel it is Art's duty to address people and remind them that we all live in and on this same globe.
With my street art murals, I intend to remind them, that we are equal, that we can't look away from human crisis, mass production, pollution, ... I want people to stand still, reflect on life. But I don't only want people to reflect on what goes wrong in the world, because there is also much beauty in this world. And also that beauty needs to colour our walls and our hearts. |
