Bram De Ceurt was born in Antwerp, Belgium.
He graduated from RIKSO and went on to (study graphic design) at Sint-Lucas & Academy of fine Arts in Antwerp.
For many years his main focus was on graffiti and street art:
participating in and organizing international events, curating an artproject for Redbull and working on
several projects for NMBS, De Lijn, WWF, TMF, Ketnet, Rubenshuis, Plantin Moretus Museum, etc.
In 2010 his focus was no longer limited to graffiti and streetart, but expanded towards photography.
His first intention was to include more realism in his artworks and paintings, but it was just the start of his photographic journey.
Bram’s approach of female beauty with an erotic touch,
with attention to shapes, composition and contrast staying true to his typographic background, creates images that seek balance.
Balance in beauty and curves, as well as in lines and contrast.
A balance in mind, for himself, but also for you as viewer.
I prefer pictures in black and white, never grey. You don't want a dull grey wall either”
As you can see, the website has been changed to a smaller more straight forward and informative design.
Don't worry if you feel nostalgic, or afraid on missing out on older artwork and images since a selection will be available under the archive button in the navigation panel soon.
You can still look through older work even up till 2012, and also have a quick read what has been realised all these years.
On Instagram you can follow both my Photographic and Graffti journey.
